One of the most iconic interiors in all of the resort: The Portrait Hall in The Haunted Mansion.
I have wanted, and tried, to get this shot for so long. Finally one night, I made sure to be the last person to enter the queue before they closed. I had my tripod already extended and camera mounted. As I exited the elevator I “lagged behind” (reference) and pleaded to the cast member working the area to just give me one minute. After I promised to not even board the ride, and promised to exit the queue after I got my shot, he agreed, to which I was so grateful. I thanked him profusely. Sometimes all it takes is 60 seconds to make some extra magic happen, make a photographer’s day, and hopefully an excellent photo. And it’s always important to treat the cast member with respect and understanding.
